TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATIONS
The Mansion in Glen Cove
Conveniently located in the tri-state area to facilitate scheduling of other business opportunities around the conference, Capture 2017 will be held at the Glen Cove Mansion, located about 20 miles from New York’s La Guardia and JFK airports. At this landmark estate on Long Island, turn-of-the-century ambience blends beautifully with today’s comforts and technology. This exceptional meeting environment is enhanced with state-of-the-art meeting rooms, gracious guestrooms and a spectacular indoor recreation and fitness center.
This convenient venue allows conference attendees to schedule additional business activities in the New York area around the conference, as well as the opportunity to take advantage of the many exciting features the Long Island/New York City area offers such as theatres, museums, beaches and wine country.
A full conference pass for Capture 2017 includes New York JFK and LaGuardia airport transfers (for other airports or train stations, please contact us), meals and events during the course of the conference. Additionally, a special discounted sleeping room rate at the Glen Cove Mansion will be offered to each attendee. Incremental costs such as airfare are minimal, as flights to and from the major NY airports of JFK and LaGuardia are priced competitively, in addition to those airports being convenient gateways for European travelers.
Enjoy Glen Cove Mansion’s classic conference experience.
HSA has reserved a block of rooms for the nights of October 4th and 5th, at a negotiated rate of $185.00 plus tax/ night (price subject to availability). To book rooms, please contact Erin Dempsey at email@example.com or (910) 574-6631. Please do not contact the Mansion direct as all rooming lists are being managed by HSA.
Complimentary transportation to and from JFK or LGA can be arranged through HSA. Please specify if this service will be required upon booking your sleeping rooms.
If you have not arranged for transportation, please follow this link for train information:

It is highly recommended that you do not take a New York city cab to the mansion from the airport or from within the city, as the mansion is outside city limits. Since cab drivers cannot pick up a fare, they are permitted to charge for a return journey which doubles the fare. The result can be a charge of as much as $ 200 for trips to the mansion in Glen Cove on Long Island!
If you are at La Guardia or JFK airports, we will provide complimentary taxi service. If you are in the Manhattan or the City of New York or at Newark Airport in New Jersey, we recommend you take public transportation to Penn Station in Manhattan and then catch the Long Island railroad to Glen Cove station (change at Jamaica) where we will arrange for a taxi to collect you.
For additional questions about travel and venue, please contact Erin Dempsey with HSA directly at (910) 574-6631 or firstname.lastname@example.org
